Body Found In Field Off West Elverta Road

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Deputies say they are investigating a homicide after a body was found in a field in North Sacramento.
The scene is off of W. Elverta Road. According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, homicide detectives have been called the scene and the road has been closed west of Highway 99 and east of Metro Air Parkway.
No details about why detectives are investigating the incident as a homicide have been released.
