Big Waves, Dangerous Currents Predicted Along Southern And Central California Beaches

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Swimmers and surfers are being warned of dangerous rip currents and waves up to 10 feet along southern and central California beaches.
The National Weather Service has issued a high surf advisory for Los Angeles and Orange counties through 6 p.m. TuesdayForecasters say minor flooding of low-lying coastal areas is possible during high tides.
A small craft advisory is in effect to indicate hazardous sea conditions for boaters.
