Bicyclist Struck By Light Rail Train, Transported To Hospital

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A bicyclist has been transported to the hospital after being struck by a light rail train Tuesday morning.
The scene is near 19th and V Streets.
Authorities responded to the scene just before 6:30 a.m. on a report about a person being hit by a light rail train. It was discovered that a person riding a bicycle was hit.
That person has since been transported to the hospital. Their condition is unknown.
Light rail service was briefly paused but has since resumed.
