Avalanche Warning For Lake Tahoe Basin

LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) — The Sierra Avalanche Center has issued a high avalanche warning for the Lake Tahoe Basin through tomorrow morning.
Scientists say danger will persist into tomorrow afternoon due to wind slab, storm slab, and deep slab avalanche problems. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended.
