5-Acre Fire Burning In Fair Oaks

Firefighters are battling a vegetation fire in Fair Oaks.
The fire has burned over 5 acres in the area of 4233 Illinois Avenue, which is along the American River at Sailor Bar Park, according to authorities.
 
A Sac Metro Fire Department helicopter, several engines, and water tenders have been sent to the area.
