2 Killed In Head-On Crash On Highway 99; DUI Suspected

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Authorities say alcohol looks to be a factor in a late night crash that killed two people on Highway 99.
The crash happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday on Highway 99 just north of Elkhorn Boulevard. California Highway Patrol says a Honda Accord being driven by a 21-year-old man was heading the wrong way on the southbound side of the freeway when it crashed head-on into a Toyota Land Crusier.
