CDC reports US' first case of bird flu associated with recent strains in human

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Thursday night announced it detected a case of H5 bird flu in Colorado, in someone who was involved in the process of killing poultry with presumptive H5N1 bird flu.
