Downtown Raleigh events go ahead a week after Independence Day weekend violence

Raleigh hosted the All-American Summer Festival on Saturday, an event with carnival games, food trucks, ice cream and local bands, and mixed in with the crowd were several Raleigh police officers in case things escalated like a week prior.
