Woman Dies After Being Struck By Train Along Freeport Road

FREEPORT (KDKA) – A woman died after she was hit by a train on Tuesday night in Freeport.According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, the woman had been walking along the tracks around 10:30 p.m. and had been hit by a train.Pittsburgh Police, EMS, and Fire all responded to the incident in the 800 block of Freeport Road, and once on the scene, medics pronounced the woman dead.Detectives are investigating the crash.
