West Penn Power Outage Leaves 2,000 Customers In Dark

MCCANDLESS (KDKA) – Nearly 2,000 West Penn Power customers are in the dark this morning.
A West Penn Power spokesman said the problem is with a transformer at a substation and it’s probably going to be another couple of hours before service is restored.
This is affecting the McCandless area.
As a result of the outage, the CCAC North campus is starting at noon today.
