Water-Logged Field Could Dampen Greensburg’s Weekend Celebration

GREENSBURG (KDKA) — The people in charge of this weekend’s celebration at Lynch Field in Westmoreland County are scrambling.
Recent rainy weather has turned the field into a soggy mess.
The 13-acre area houses ball fields and greenspace.
And before this Memorial Day Weekend’s Community Days, volunteers are trying to pump out some of the water flooding the fields.
