Washington County Fire Chief Detained In Thailand Returns Home For Christmas

WASHINGTON COUNTY (KDKA) — A local fire chief who was arrested in Thailand is back home.
Michael Morra was working in Thailand for General Electric when he was sent to prison after officials found a bullet in his suitcase.
He detained in Thailand since before Thanksgiving and could not come back to the United States.
But he returned to Hanover Township on Christmas Eve.
Washington County lawmakers, including Rep. Joshua Kail, sent letters to Morra.
