Warming Centers Open Around Area As Extreme Cold Arrives

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Frigid temperatures have moved into the area, but several warming centers are open.
A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for western Pennsylvania until 9 a.m. on Friday.
According to Meteorologist Ron Smiley, wind chills could dip as low as 14 degrees below zero.
As a result, several warming centers have opened around the area.
