Walkabout: North Side identifies with ducks out of water

A family of ducklings on Lake Elizabeth has captured the hearts of nearby North Siders, starting several weeks ago when people first spotted them. For whatever reason, I had never, in almost 20 years in the neighborhood, seen ducklings around the lake, and many people on the neighborhood Facebook page acknowledged the same.
