UPMC Workers To Hit The Picket Lines For 1-Day Strike

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Some UPMC workers are planning to walk off the job for a one-day strike today.
The employees say they want better pay, benefits and they want to unionize.
Several politicians are expected to attend the noontime rally in Oakland, including Lt. Gov. John Fetterman.
Last weekend, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders offered support, asking his supporters to join the rally.
