Steelers Asst. Coach Joey Porter Arrested, Charged With Assault

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh Steelers assistant coach Joey Porter was arrested Sunday night, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesperson Sonya Toler.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. at The Flats on the South Side.
Officials confirm security guards summoned Pittsburgh Police due to an unruly customer, later identified as Porter, in the process of assaulting a doorman.
When police arrived on scene, the assault was stopped and Porter was taken into custody.
