Route 48 Closed In Elizabeth Township Due To Downed Tree

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – On top of a number of construction projects around Pittsburgh— namely on Bigelow Boulevard, McArdle Roadway and the Turnpike – expected to ties up traffic on Saturday, a section of State Route 48 was closed just after 9 a.m.
Route 48 is closed from Mansfield Road in Lincoln Borough to Fey Road in Elizabeth Township due to a downed tree.
