RBC Heritage: Harbour Town Golf Links Demands Shot-Making Excellence

(CBS Miami/CBS Local) — Harbour Town Golf Link, home of this week’s RBC Heritage, enjoyed a special inception and christening in 1969, when it first opened and hosted the tournament. The famous course on Hilton Head Island was designed by the dynamic team of Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye. Under time constraints, they completed it just in time to watch Arnold Palmer end a 14-month victory drought with a three-stroke victory over Bert Yancey and Richard Crawford.
