Protesters Gathering Near Pittsburgh’s Christopher Columbus Statue

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A group of protesters has gathered in Schenley Park near the Christopher Columbus statue.
No Racist Statues Pittsburgh is the group protesting on Monday night.
Last week, Mayor Bill Peduto recommended that the Christopher Columbus statue be removed. The recommendation came after the Art Commission voted 3-0 in favor of removing the statue.
