Port Authority blames driver error for bus crash into Brookline cannon; union calls it 'accident'

The driver of the bus that hopped a curb in Brookline and knocked over an iconic cannon on July 8 was at fault in the crash and is no longer employed with the Port Authority of Allegheny County, a spokesman said Wednesday.
