Police Respond To Threat At McGuffey Middle School

CLAYSVILLE (KDKA) — State police are handling a situation at McGuffey Middle School in Claysville.
Washington County emergency dispatchers say officers have been on scene since 12:30 p.m.
A statement from the school superintendent Dr. Erica L. Kolat indicates that a written threat was found in the restroom.
Upon discovery of the threat, the school immediately went into lockdown. Emergency personnel were notified and responded to assist with the evacuation.
