Police Pursuit Ends In Swissvale

SWISSVALE (KDKA) — Police took one man into custody following a pursuit early Friday morning.
The chase began around 2 a.m. in the City of Pittsburgh. It ended at the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Stanton Avenue in Swissvale, where the suspect ran into a wooded area. Swissvale Police officers apprehended him a short time later. At least one unit from University of Pittsburgh Police was also involved in the pursuit.
The suspect’s SUV was towed away from the scene.
