Police Officer Injured While Chasing Suspect In Carrick

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A Pittsburgh Police officer was hurt while chasing a wanted man on Monday.
The suspect took off through some yards along Westmont Avenue in Carrick on Monday afternoon.

Police say he jumped over a fence, and as the office followed and gave chase, the fence collapsed.
The officer suffered some injuries to his face.
The suspect was taken into custody nearby.
