Police Officer Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A Pittsburgh Police motorcycle officer was injured in an accident this morning along Route 28.
The crash happened around 7:40 a.m. near the 31st Street Bridge.
According to a police spokesperson, the officer was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital to be evaluated as a precaution.
His motorcycle was towed.
