Plans For Medical Marijuana Facility In New Castle Canceled

NEW CASTLE (KDKA) — Plans for a medical marijuana dispensary in New Castle have been canceled.Harvest Health and Recreation says they will not move forward after a settlement with the Department of Health.According to the settlement, Harvest used a non-approved general contractor to build the dispensary.Harvest says they won’t pursue a permit to open in New Castle to avoid complications with the permits they were granted at other facilities.
