Pittsburgh's Action Weather forecast: Storms to start the weekend

A cold front will fire up thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening. Most of the thunderstorms will be after 2 p.m. but we could get an isolated pop-up before that. The storm prediction center has our viewing area under an elevated risk for severe weather.
