Pittsburgh Public Schools Host Back To School Event Providing Students With Supplies

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh Public School families showed up right outside of Heinz Field Friday morning for a “Back to School” event to get their kids ready for the upcoming school year.
Volunteers spent hours getting ready for the event, and families were seen waiting in line since 7 a.m.
“We’ve stood in the heat. Very hot heat waiting to get in the event the one year so we learned not to wait,” said Tammy Smith.MORE— families picking up book bags,
