Pittsburgh Fireworks Task Force To Crack Down On Illegal Fireworks This July 4th Weekend

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — With many fireworks shows around the country having been canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, safety officials are concerned there will be a spike in fireworks-related injuries this summer.
With most shows cancelled across the area, the City of Pittsburgh is asking people to avoid creating their own spectacle at home.
Fireworks-related complaints in the city have increased nearly 400% from last year.
