Pittsburgh Diocese Announces Changes To Mass Over Coronavirus Concerns

PITTSBURGH (KDKDA) – The Pittsburgh Diocese is making changes to Mass in preparation of a possible coronavirus outbreak.Bishop David Zubik issued guidelines for Mass Monday, like temporarily suspending the distribution of wine during the Eucharist and exchange the Sign of Peace without physical contact.Zubik also ordered holy water fonts to be cleaned and drained on a weekly basis.Anyone who feels sick is not “obligated” to attend Sunday Mass.The changes go into effect immediat
