Pitt, UPMC open large-scale genome-sequencing center

The stage is set for advanced genome sequencing at the new UPMC Genome Center in Shadyside, ready now to help researchers and doctors at the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC. With the launching of the center Tuesday, the race to apply scientific discovery to patient care just picked up the pace.
