Pitcairn Road Closes Due To ‘Hazardous Conditions,’ Officials Say

PITCAIRN, Pa. (KDKA) — A road in Pitcairn has been closed due to unsafe conditions, according to police.
The 500 block of 9th Street is closed to traffic. Large cracks and potholes in the pavement have collected water.Police in Pitcairn called the conditions hazardous in a Facebook post announcing the closure.(Credit: Bryce Lutz/KDKA)
Parts of the pavement have raised, creating an uneven surface.
