Pink Supermoon To Light Up Pittsburgh Sky Monday

PITTSBURGH (CNN/KDKA) — The Pink Supermoon will light up the sky on Monday.
The moon will be late Monday night, April 26, appearing opposite the sun in Earth-based longitude at 11:32 p.m., according to NASA.
The Worm supermoon was the year’s first supermoon, meaning the moon is slightly closer to Earth and therefore appears bigger and brighter in the sky.
Typical of a normal year, 2021 will also have 12 full moons. (Last year had 13 full moons, two of which were in October.)
