People Evacuated From Multi-Vehicle Crash Inside Liberty Tunnel

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A multi-vehicle accident has closed the Liberty Tunnel for Saturday afternoon.The accident occurred inside the tunnel near the lanes that lead to Route 51. The outbound lanes in the tunnel were closed, and one lane at least has been reopened.Pittsburgh Police, Fire and EMS are all at the scene. EMS has had to evacuate a few people, but the number has not been disclosed yet. No one has been transported to any hospital at this time.Stay with KDKA as we follow this story.
