Pennsylvania budget gap balloons to $600 million

HARRISBURG — While Pennsylvania faces a budget shortfall of hundreds of millions of dollars, Wolf administration officials said Wednesday they would seek to avoid proposing an increase in either the state sales or income taxes next year.
