PennDOT Closing Parkway East Outbound This Weekend

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The outbound Parkway East will be shutting down this weekend, weather permitting, for road work.
The closure, stretching from Grant Street to the Boulevard of the Allies ramp, begins Friday at 10 p.m. and will continue through 5 a.m. Monday.
According to PennDOT, road crews will be painting the Birmingham Bridge and doing some construction work on I-376.
There will be detours in place, but drivers should expect significant delays.
