Penn State trustees approve tuition increase, elect new board chairman

Penn State trustees Friday approved the university’s 2017-18 operating budget, which includes a base aggregate tuition increase of 2.45 percent for in-state undergraduate students and 3.85 percent for out-of-state undergraduates.
