Peduto has harsh words for Pittsburgh superintendent as strike vote looms

A week after the Pittsburgh Federation of Teachers said it will be voting on a strike, the mayor expressed frustration that the city school district is unwilling to meet with him in an attempt to mediate negotiations and head off a work stoppage.
