Parkway East ‘Bathtub’ Closes Due To Flooding

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The Parkway East “bathtub” closed Friday night due to flooding.
PennDOT said that section of westbound I-376 closed to traffic just before 8:30 p.m. It was initially scheduled to close at 11 p.m., but water levels rose faster than anticipated.
All traffic approaching the “bathtub” between Grant Street and the Fort Pitt Bridge will be detoured.
