Orionids Meteor Shower To Peak Overnight

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Attention stargazers — there’s a cool sight coming to our area. It’s time again for the Orionids meteor shower.
The American Meteor Society says overnight on Tuesday night is the peak, with more than a dozen meteors falling every hour.
While they’re named for the Orion constellation, the Orionids are left behind pieces of the long tail produced by Halley’s Comet.
We’ll keep seeing these leftovers until the comet
