Ohio Mom Pleads Guilty To Murder In Missing 6-Year-Old Son’s Death

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (AP) — The mother of a 6-year-old boy who authorities say died when she tried to abandon him and his two older siblings at a park has pleaded guilty to murder and two counts of felony child endangerment.
Brittany Gosney, 29, of Middletown, unexpectedly entered her pleas during a court hearing Monday. The hearing had been requested by her attorney, who was seeking to bar prosecutors from using statements she made to detectives at trial.
