NWS: Saltlick Township Storm Was Likely EF-1 Tornado With Winds Up To 100 MPH

SALTLICK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) – The NWS says it was likely an EF-1 tornado with winds up to 100 mph that tore through Saltlick Township, Fayette County Thursday afternoon.
Crews were out surveying damage Friday after Tornado Warnings were issued for parts of Westmoreland, Fayette and Somerset counties Thursday afternoon. That storm caused some serious damage in Saltlick Township, Fayette County. It happened in the area of Kesslar Road and Kesslar Road Extension.
