Murray, Penguins Agree To Terms On 3-Year Extension

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Matt Murray has signed a three-year extension with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
According to the team’s official website, the deal starts in the 2017-18 season and runs through the 2019-20 season.
It also carries an annual salary cap hit of $3.75 million.
The extension comes after Murray helped the Penguins win their fourth Stanley Cup title this year.
He finished the playoffs with a 15-6 record to go along with a 2.08 GAA and a .923 save percentage.
