Mold Risk Prompts Massive Sippy Cup Recall
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Millions of sippy cups are being pulled from shelves due to a mold risk.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, 68 children were sickened after drinking from five types of spill-proof Tommee Tippee Sippee cups.
Mold can develop on the removable, one-piece, white valve inside the cups when it remains moist and is infrequently cleaned.
