Mistrial Declared In Westmoreland Co. Sheriff’s Corruption Trial

GREENSBURG (KDKA) — A mistrial has been declared in Westmoreland County Sheriff Jonathan Held‘s corruption trial.
Initially, the jury announced a unanimous guilty verdict around 5 p.m., but upon pooling the jurors, one juror said he disagreed with the verdict. The judge then sent the jury back to deliberate.
Around 5:45 p.m., the jury returned to the courtroom and said they were unable to reach a verdict. The judge then declared a mistrial.
