Man Who Killed Unarmed Intruder Charged With Murder

WASHINGTON (KDKA) — The Washington County District Attorney announced Thursday that homicide charges have been filed against a man who shot and killed an intruder on Nov. 25.
David William Murray, 53, is accused of killing Nathaniel Gardner, 52 inside Murray’s home on Adams Street in McDonald.
Murray told officers that Gardner kicked in the door and entered his home. Police say Gardner was unarmed.
