Man Overcome By Fumes While Working In Sewer In Baldwin

BALDWIN (KDKA) – A man was overcome by fumes after he tried to climb into a manhole outside his Baldwin home Monday.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Angelo Drive.

Baldwin Borough manager John Barrett says a man lifted a manhole cover outside of his home with the intention of going into the manhole to do masonry work. He may have poured some chemicals into the manhole, and at that point, he was overcome by fumes. It
