Man Killed In Westmoreland County Trench Collapse

ROSTRAVER TWP. (KDKA) — One person is dead after a trench collapse in Westmoreland County.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Country Drive in Rostraver Township.
Crews were on the scene due to drainage problems in the neighborhood.
A 60-year-old worker was in the trench, on a ladder, when a portion of the wall not protected by a trench box gave way and landed on the man.
The ladder went down into the trench, along with a massive amount of dirt, and the man was buried.
