Legislature OKs opioid restrictions

The mounting body counts and grieving family members created by the opioid epidemic spurred a rush of activity Wednesday in Harrisburg, where lawmakers passed new restrictions on painkiller prescribing aimed at sparing future generations from what some call the plague of addiction.
