Legionella Case Confirmed At McKeesport Personal Care Home

MCKEESPORT (KDKA) — Allegheny County officials confirm a resident at the Kane Regional Center in McKeesport has tested positive for Legionella.
According to a press release, immediate steps were taken by the administration at the Kane Regional Center, in cooperation with the Allegheny County Health Department, to address any strains of the disease at the facility.
A briefing will be held at 4 p.m. to address the incident and “subsequent remedial actions.”
