Lead Safe Homes program open for business

Homeowners, tenants and landlords can now apply to participate in the Allegheny Lead Safe Homes Program, Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald announced Wednesday. Designed to reduce lead poisoning in children, the program offers participants a lead-based paint inspection, risk assessment and help to reduce or remove lead hazards in residences.
